The Prairie View team of Patrice Roberts Beverly Day Patricia Jackson and Essie Kelley was timed in 1 minute 33.9 seconds half a second better than the collegiate Mark set last year by Urcla. We just were hoping to have Good handoffs. They were pitiful this morning said Kelley who ran her leg in s3. We knew we could get a record if everything went just right with our handoffs. Randy Wilson anchored Oklahoma s win in the University sprint Medley relay. Wilson also won Friday s Duel with Mcaa record Holder Mike Boit in the special 801 meters for the second straight year. Three records were lowered in the Marathon where winners in open division masters and women s class All took several minutes off the Drake relay records.
