Ayers promptly untied it with a 10-foot jumper and the rattlers went to the dress ing room with a slim 51-49 Lead at the inter  tied it up at the Start of the second half and ran up a 78-70 advantage before the rattlers struck Back and finally took the Lead again when Ayers intercepted a pass and broke in for a Layup to make it 91 -90 with 8 24 left. The Lead changed hands five times before Michael Coles. Mccoy and Dicke propelled the a l stars into a 108-103 advantage with 4 14 remaining Only to have Ayers and Brooks rack up four Quick Points to narrow it to one. Then after each team scored baskets it was 112-111 with 1 13 left and Barton Wade hit on two free throws when Walsh was called for his fifth foul and departed. But then came Ayers and Henderson and the rattlers runner up in the v corps Northern league came Back to win the one they had to and take Over the Champi  led All scorers with 42 followed by Ayers with 28, Henderson 14 and Risher 12. Coles topped the All stars with 32. Mccoy had 30. Thomas Moberry 17 and Dickey 11. Mainz had 48 for 72 from the floor for a 67 per cent while the a stars shot 45 for 73 for 62 per cent. Brooks had a fantastic 15 for 20 for 75 per cent 26 of his 42 Points coming in the second half. The All stars had won the opener of the Best of three series with a 113-105 Triumph in Erlanger. The rattlers ended with a 21-5 record while the stars were 16-2, both losses coming at the hands of the rattlers. Wiesbaden s Debbie Kealey tied her in the floor exer Cise with a Beautiful performance each earning 9.10 Points. Kaiserslautern scored 93 Points to win the senior division team title and Numberg took the Junior division with 84.65 markers. This is what we wanted most of All the team  a dripping Marion Grothus beamed after her Kaiserslautern girls had treated her to a championship coach a Shower.
