Zone of Austria calculated to provide important economic benefits for the country it was announced. The project is to be financed from a blocked Schilling account which accrued to the austrian government through sales of . Army stocks by tiie austrians. The stocks had been furnished to the austrian government by Ufa from to 1948. The building program will in effect convert what is now a non interest bearing Frozen account into a capital asset of major importance title to which will be retained by Austria. The program is expected to pro vide an important Channel for employment of austrian labor and will afford a Market for goods and services of the austrian building trades and Allied industries. It is estimated the project will release 53,000,000 schillings to the Austria Economy. The schedule Calls for a total of approximately 20 units each con Taining 12 to 18 apartments to be completed some time this year. It is planned for the present to move american families into the units As they Are completed in order to offset crowded conditions caused by the movement in the past year of several .
