The 41-year-old Jennings decide to return to the Oil business in an association throughout his Colleg Days in 1954 and stayed two year until Nebraska lured Pete Elliot away from Oklahoma and he took Jennings along As Backfield coach after one year Elliott switched to California and Jennings was elevated to the top Job.
