He started digging a foxhole and he put Down All of the guns but one on the ground. When the policeman shot him i was sure scared. When the Bullet hit him he fell on his Knees and kind of hunched Over and he was still holding the gun on me. There was a pistol on the ground and i started shooting. I had never shot a pistol except one time before. I sure was scared after he had emptied the gun at the convict. Ricky said he fled in a Zigzag fashion across the Field. I thought Weaver was still alive he said. Ricky credited state patrolman Robert Benson who shot Weaver with a Rifle from 200 Yards away with saving his life. I know that if it had not been for that policeman i would have been killed for sure Ricky said. I was scared. But i m Okay  dept.
