My questions Are How Many months must i Complete in Usa eur so that i will not receive a bar to re enlistment will i be eligible for free government transportation for my household goods hug my family and myself to conus within one year of my discharge How would the overseas discharge affect my household goods stored in conus name withheld by request editor s note he Usa eur replies Para 13e 3a 601-210, precludes the re enlistment of individuals with Over four years of service who have received serv ices . My husband s rotation Date is in Decem Ber. We Are hoping we can be Home for Christmas. According to he Usa eur the army makes a concerted Effort to rotate or discharge Usa eur personnel prior to Christ Mas if a person s rotation or discharge Date Falls within three or four Days of Christmas. There is no regulation established governing Early outs  our Washington Bureau reports that the defense department has not decided on an Early out policy. Last year the policy was announced on nov. 18. Thanks to helpful yanks i would like to Tell you about the Friendly help of some Amer ican soldiers on the Darmstadt Frankfurt autobahn. On oct. 17, Between 4 30 and 5 ., my husband Heinric Frehse was driving his Small car from Darmstadt to Buch Schlag. Because of the bad storm a larger car in the right hand Lane started sliding and spinning in front of him crossing to the Middle of the autobahn and smashing into the guard  avoid running into the car my husband tried to Man Euver around , he also started to slide the car spinning around and Landing on the Green strip and turning Over on its left  army trucks following behind him stopped immediately. Four men ran Back waving their arms warning the oncoming cars. Three other men ran to my husband s car. Thank god the damage was slight and my husband climbed out through the window. The three Friendly and helpful soldiers assisted my husband then set the car Back on its wheels an faced it in the right direction. Then helping the Driver of the other car which also showed Only minor damage they said a Friendly Goodby and continued on their Way. No German Drivers seemed to notice the  family would like to express our Heartfelt thanks to those unidentified american soldiers for their wonderful help also for their fast thinking which possibly prevented a More serious Accident.
