As in past years All the finals will be held on the second Day a saturday. Track and Field fans in the Nuernberg area will be Able to see the Best prep runners in Europe show their stuff Between 1 . And 5 15 . Some 25 schools will be represented in the finals. Regular season results show that the ludwigs Burg stallions stand a Good Chance of outscoring the defending Champion Frankfurt eagles. But surprises Are usually the order of the Day when such a big Field o athletes get together. In Halm Whit was the boys who were supposed to compete at Mannheim who got Short changed. They be been running in Snow mud and rain for two months and then when the Sun comes out they Are stranded. It would have taken about an hour of work by three or four people to get that Mannheim track into top condition so there might have been a Muddy spot. So what this was not the finals. No one was shooting for a world record.
