St. Michael a former Benedictine monastery Church built about1000-1033, is the Only Large building of its period which has retained in full the character of the Early romanesque period. Limburg St. George s Cathedral a loth Century Structure Isan example of late romanesque architecture and occupies a unique situation from the Scenic Point of View with an impressive group of towers. The Interior contains works of Art in the styles of All periods. Luebeck the Cathedral was founded in 1173 by Henry the lion and was the first Larse German Church built on the Baltic.
