Referring specifically to an injunction proceeding against Kuhn in the . District court in Atlanta that was brought by the braves after the commissioner had suspended Turner one year for tampering with free agent Gary m atthews. Steinbrun. Nor said it was time somebody stood up i behalf of Kuhn. In seeking the injection. The braves Are trying to set aside Turner s suspension. We re All Over Legal age and of reasonable intelligence and when we bought these teams we knew what the rules one of those rules said the Yankees owner was that All the owners would abide by the commissioner s decisions and no take him to court. I accepted that when i came into base Ball and Turner did too so that in effect what Turner is doing now is not suing the commissioner but suing me and All theother owners and that s court costs of Kuhn s recent defense against Oakland owner Charlie Finley came to More than $600.000.
