The newspaper said the outbreak of the illness apparently results from the fact that air planes arc flying higher to con serve fuel and. The Ozone itself has dipped closer to Ozone in the upper layer of the atmosphere Shields the Earth from harmful ultraviolet radiation. Concern that fluorocarbons used As propellants in some Aero sol sprays might destroy the Ozone have led to moves to ban the f fluorocarbons. The journal said the Ozone previously was too High to cause trouble but May be lower this year because of the cold weather during the newspaper said doctors do not know whether Low doses of Ozone cause any Long term effects. It said most people suffering Ozone sickness seem to recover within a few hours after the flight.
