There is no telling where Jan would be now if she had continued Bowling after that first venture in Alaska 16 years ago. Possi Bly she would be competing with the bes women bowlers in the nation. Jan recalls that night when she and he husband Norman who likes the name of Ike went Bowling. While on the lanes Jan went into labor immediately headed forthe Hospital and gave birth to Barbara now 16. I was 17 years old then said Jan at her Home Here and i said to myself then this is enough of this foolish game " that foolish game now happens to revolve around the life of Jan and Ike Eisen hut. Day in and Day out. The Eisenhutt will be the Only husband and wife team in the 1977 Abc wisc Mas ters tournament scheduled Friday at Hei Delberg s Campbell Barracks. Ike qualified As one of 32 of s92 bowl ers trying for the masters and Jan was no. 1 of the 16 qualifiers out of 216 women to earn a trip to the three Day coveted event. Jan not Only qualified but set two wisc european air Star tournament records Anrhein main lanes. She rolled a six game set of 1291 in the doubles for an unbelievable 21s.1 average and won the All events with a record 1468 total for a 12.6 average Over 18 games. That s pretty Strong shoot ing in any league men or women. Jan score would have qualified 21st in the Abc european All Star tournament for themen at the Ramstein lanes. Guess who qualified 20th in the Abc two pins More than Jan s total. That s right. Ike. Jan s six game set of 1291 is a record that May never be touched Over Here. A stylish extremely smooth Lethander witha pendulum Arm swing Jan cranked out games of 226-236-184 for a 646 series and217-225-203 for a 645 series. What was going through Jan s min near one o clock in the morning when she was converging on that 1300 total i was concentrating on staying Down and follow ing  Jan is aiming for the title that escaped her last year in Garmisch. After leading the qualifying in the 1976 masters Jan was beaten in the finals by Ann Mcneil of Munich. Though there were charges by some afterwards but not by the Eisenhutt. Scheckter and mass fought it out from the2qlh Lap to the end. Scheckter Only a few Yards ahead at times but staying ahead of mass  Champion James Hunt mass teammate is still without a Victory this season. He left the Spanish up Early with electrical problems. Niki Lauda who qualified third in his his Ferrari did t get into. The Tare at All. I was very tired but that is no , it turned out that Jan was fighting a Lack of stamina and had a health problem. She underwent surgery two weeks afterwards and then had further surgery a month later. This year Jan is healthy and looking for Ward to the masters again but i am not thinking about winning. When i go into a Star a six game 1300 total self. Never think you can beat  Means Iron hat in German and Ike admits that sometimes he has an Iron head when he gets mad on the lanes something his wife never  her marriage when she was 16 years of age Jan said i was not Mooyoung i was very very  Jan met Ike in Anchorage during his second Yea with the air Force.
