If the airline fails to provide alternate transportation so that passengers can arrive at their destination within two hours of their originally scheduled travel time it would have to double the compensation with a minimum of $50 and a maximum of $400. This compensation is in addition to the value of the ticket. Under the current Rule a bumped Pas Senger can receive compensation of from $25 to $200, but Only if the airline fails to get him to his destination within two hours of the original flight s arrival.
