Ward takes Many of his tintype picture for his own amusement but is shooting More and More for the burgeoning period photography business. He said he became interested in old time photography five years ago while at fort Detrick my. I was interested in photog Raphy but it was snapshot photography for my own use. Then i stumbled onto a refurbished civil War Era photo studio at Harper s ferry w. Va., and i became interested inthe old time  Ward now takes his tintype camera which is a replica of the most popular camera of the mid-1860s, around Germany to fairs tests and bazaars.
