Red wings 6, Maple Leafs 5 Toronto Petr Klima scored the winning goal at 13 59 of the third period and had three assists As Detroit held on to Edge Toronto. Tom Fergus and Peter Ihnacak had scored 22 seconds apart Early in the third period to lift Toronto into a 5-5 lie. But Klima broke the deadlock when he swept around the Toronto defense on the left Side and beat goalie Don Edwards with a High shot. Klima s goal gave recently appointed Detroit coach Brad Park his first Victory behind the wings Bench. Park who took 2 shutouts an upset a comeback Over the team after Harry Neal was fired now has a i-2-1 record. The win was Only Detroit s second in its last 15 games.
