Army and us As taxpayers More than 1600 million j120 million in fiscal 1985 alone. More important than those savings Are the dollars that Tai returned to communities. Every year communities receive a certain amount of Money to pay their fuel Bills any amount not needed for that purpose can be used by the Community to increase the Quality of life for soldiers civilian employees and family members. Last year this savings amounted to approximately 111 million. This Money was Vised to build child care centers Community centers and sports and recreation facilities to renovate commissaries upgrade bus shelters and playgrounds expand summer hire programs and for Many other purposes purposes decided on by the Community to Benefit its members. In addition to the Money saved on Utility Bills Usa eur also rewards the most Energy efficient communities by giving away 12 million every year to communities which have proven themselves id be leaders in the Field of reducing Energy waste.
