The army Survey also delved into soldiers attitudes about cigarette pricing and availability. Some lawmakers on Capitol Hill have urged that tobacco prices in military facilities be raised to the average in the local civilian Community because the lower prices encourage smoking especially among Young Servic members. The army Survey showed that 41 percent of the enlisted personnel and 15 percent of the officers Don t perceive reduced tobacco prices As an important Mili tary Benefit.
