Jail the loss of my License pleading by family members and trouble with my employer did not deter me. I was insane when it came to drinking. Thankfully i never killed or maimed anyone. Most multiple offenders Are alcoholics. They drink abnormally can t Stop by themselves and cause real problems. The dui driving under the influence Laws do not work. They Are Legal solutions to a medical problem. We can t keep Drunken Drivers locked up forever sobriety is the Only solution. Evaluating and sending alcoholics to treatment centers and alcoholics Anonymous will save Money and lives. Treatment centers generally have a 40 percent Success rate. Jails have no Success rate. If the Energy exerted to get alcoholics locked up was diverted to keeping them sober it would be a giant step toward the solution of a heartbreaking problem s.s., somewhere _ _ in Tennessee dear Tennessee i Don t know when i be read so much Good sense in one letter. So As the Story goes my Friend and i had a few errands to run. We needed to Stop at our Community Bank before we could begin our errands. When we arrived we saw a line so Long that one almost needed a map to know where each line was leading to. We decided we would go to the express Teller out Side thinking this should be quicker especially since there was not much time to wait several hours inside Lor service before the Post closed Down for the evening. Another Surprise. We saw a line of people who had been waiting at the Teller for quite some time in Freez ing weather. Since it was taking so Long we gave up and left. When we drove past the Teller again the same Man was still there waiting for the machine to be serviced. Now i understand that no matter what there Are going to be times when Banks and stores mostly Banks Are extremely crowded. That s a part of life that just is and always will be. What i Don t understand is Why on the most crowded Days paydays fridays and weekends Why the Bank can t afford to have More than two employees waiting on hundreds of peo ple. This is not a complaint to the employees As i m positive they wish it was easier too but simply a ques Tion Why. Is there anything that can be done about these annoying lines most of us with Little children find it almost impossible to wait in a line for several hours. Cafes Able to order laser disc movies perhaps you can get me an answer about the Avail ability of laser disc movies in the cafes system. In april i bought a laser disc player from cafes. I based my decision on the abundance and varieties of movies then available both in the exchanges and in the 1987/88 Catalon. Since that time the number of mov ies in the stores has constantly dwindled. The selection of new titles is almost non existent. Attributing this stagnation to inventory problems with a somewhat High Cost Low turnover item i Tri Edth Laanes Catalon system which As i understand it i suffering from a Lack of sales. The results of this order of eight discs ordered i have received three discs and a rebate for one no longer carried. The other four discs Are somewhere in the cafes order  mean while i have my Money tied up in merchandise that i am not sure i will Ever receive. This order was place Din june. Normally this Supply problem would not bother me since there Are usually alternate sources. But when i was on leave in the states i checked out video stores and rental outlets Only to find that these stores do not carry laser disc movies. On my return i asked the sales associate in stereo what the Story was. The answer was that cafes Central was getting out of the Supply Busi Ness and this function would be taken Over by the individual outlets. Now the questions what is the True Story on laser disc movie sup plies is there a civilian outlet that can provide a Bette title selection and faster mail service is this item an example of White elephant technology if the answer to the fourth question is yes what kind of responsibility does the cafes system have to us the users maj.
