Independent candidate Ivan Kram Berger was third with 18.9 percent and Liberal party candidate Marko Demsar was fourth with 10.5  neither Kucan nor Tucnik received an absolute majority they will face each other in a Runoff election april 22. An estimated 1.1 million slovenians or 75 percent of eligible voters cast ballots in the first multiparty elections in Yugoslavia since world War ii. They choose among 17 parties for the new slovenian parliament and four candidates for the republics president. Conservatives won big in East Germany a March 18 vote falling just Short of a majority. Eight hours after Hungary a polls closed sunday the democratic forum had 42.75 percent of the vote compared with 23.83 percent for the free democrats. The socialist party made up of communist reformers who nearly two years ago initiated the democratic changes in Hungary won 33 seats or 8.55 percent of the vote. The rest of the seats were divided among independents candidates supported by More than one party and one candidate of the splinter agrarian federation final results were expected tuesday
