The show is held every two years in a different bavarian City. The emphasis is on gardens and Flowers but Wurzburg s partner cities from France Japan Scotland and the United states for example brought More than plants to the show. Yes there Are Flowers and shrubs typical of Rochester ., in the . Display. But there s also a mud insulated log Cabin and brightly painted ceremonial masks of the Seneca nation of indians Are displayed inside. An intricate totem pole carved by the senecas is just outside the Cabin door. Using stones from Scotland Dundee built a Bridge Over a Stream that runs through its display area. Dundee also built a Stone Wall around a Small Field of raspberries Black currants and Tay berries a prime ingredients of some of the marmalade Dundee is famous for. A Bright red Telephone Box once typical of great Britain stands nearby. Caen sent master craftsman to Wiir Burg to build a House typical of the Calvados Region of France using 300-year-old Oak beams from an old cider press House. Inside everything from videotapes to a display of hand stitched lace Tell the City s Story. Flags Mark the  Entrance. A Small Stream Babbles Between Walkway stones and the front door of the French House winding its Way Down to the Ohmi no  Garden from Otsu nearby the japanese built a Pond in the shape Oliwa Lake where Otsu is located.
