It found the centers at least 20 percent More Likely than other hospitals to fall below Quality standards in the areas of emergency services special care services surgery and anaesthesia services surgical Case review alcohol and drug treatment planning and fire safety. But 16 percent of the veterans institutions scored 57.5 or fewer Points compared with 4 percent among other hospitals.
