Apr some scientists suspect the measuring instruments made and used by a Connecticut company to create the Hubble space telescopes two mirrors were faulty or improperly used a newspaper reported. The Hartford courant said several scientists familiar with the Hubble project Are focusing on the optical devices used to guide the grinding and polishing of the mirrors As the Root of the focusing problems because of the Mirror problem the $1.5 billion orbiting Observatory cannot properly focus the Light from Distant stars As it orbits 380 Miles above the Earth. Nasa and other scientists believe the Hubble a flaw is most Likely in the larger  said he has ruled out the possibility of a problem with the design of the null corrector for the primary Mirror and concluded the problem had to be in the manufacture or Assembly of the null corrector. A if the null corrector is Correct the Mirror would be Correct Quot said Daniel Schroeder a Nasa Telescope scientist who helped oversee the Hubble project and is chairman of the physics and astronomy department at Beloit College in Wisconsin.
