They had to lock up the Kitchen knives and watch her every minute. I forgot to mention that my aunt had a son who was quite Well to do. He visited his Mother twice a year and contributed nothing to her support. When she finally died she left everything to her son including her Home. Alice was so shocked and upset by this that she suffered a stroke and died within six months of her Mother. Meanwhile the heir her brother proceeded to sell the House he had inherited from his Mother and after 20 years of living there and helping to care for his Mother in Law Alices husband found himself out on the Street.
