Dal in 2nd weather Wing stateside cold front brings rain Snow to parts of West a cold front moving South from the Gulf of Alaska brought Snow to Montana and Wyoming rain to Oregon and Chilly weather to the Northern Rockies on tuesday. Most of the rest of the nation enjoyed unseasonably warm weather. The front was expected to bring Snow to the Cascade mountains of Oregon and Washington and parts of North Dakota and Idaho on wednesday. It brought High winds to Washington state and sent temperatures plummeting from the 90s to the 70s in the san Francisco Bay area. Snow also fell Over Central Montana and in Alaska where Fairbanks got 4 inches. Rain turning to Snow in the higher elevations also fell Over parts of Northern Wyoming. Throughout most of the rest of the nation warm weather continued As a Strong High pressure system kept the cold from moving Down the East coast. Clouds and Fig were scattered across the Middle Atlantic states and Midwest but both re Gions were warm and dry. Parts of Oklahoma were vulnerable to Brush fires. The risk was characterized As Quot very High to  a dearth of rain a which dried out vegetation and the Windy conditions added to the fire threat. Highs were expected to reach the 30s and 40s across the Northern Plains and Pacific Northwest the 60s in new England the 70s in the Middle Atlantic Region the Midwest and most of the Southwest the 80s in Florida Arizona and Texas and the 90s in Southern Arizona and Southern Texas.
