     European Stars and Stripes (Newspaper) - November 14, 1991, Darmstadt, Hesse                                A those great big fascinating Dinosaur Bones by Chuck Roberts staff writer chinese dinosaurs have shown up in Germany and they Are creating quite a stir. More than 200,000 people have crowded the Hess iches Landes museum in Darmstadt to see the Bones of six dinosaurs on loan from the chinese government. The exhibit originally scheduled to close this month has been extended to dec. 1. Although these species were found Only in China in Many cases they closely resembled their better known counterparts says Karen Ernst a geologist who works at the museum located about 18 Miles South of Frankfurt. Featured at the exhibit is the Malench saurus a 72-foot-Long Dinosaur whose head and Tail had to be extended into the adjoining room and wrapped around the Entrance Way in order to squeeze it into the exhibition space. The oldest set of skeletal remains on display belong to the Lufeng saurus a Dinosaur that roamed the Earth s surface More than 215 million years ago. The Lufeng saurus is a relative of the plate saurus which is the Only known species of Dinosaur to once roam the German area. Another creature of interest is the Sinta saurus an 80-million-year-old Plant eater that has a mysterious Bone protruding from the top of its head.
