     European Stars and Stripes (Newspaper) - March 2, 1992, Darmstadt, Hesse                                Monday March 2, 1992 the stars and stripes a Page 9 education Heidelberg team dances Over rival Stop honors won in 2 categories by Peggy Davidson Kaiserslautern Bureau Kaiserslautern Germany the Heidelberg High school dance Drill team lived up to its coaches description proving that the members were indeed a hot from  Heidelberg steam coached by Ronee Gonzales took top honors in two categories anti second place in the third to Garner the sweepstakes trophy in the second annual european dance Drill team Competition in Kaiserslautern. Teams from Heidelberg shape Ramstein Frankf tort and Kaiserslautern High schools competed in the dance Novelty and precision categories. The Competition was held before a full House at the Kaiserslautern High school gym on feb. 8. A a it a a natural High a said Christy Henson 17, of the Kaiserslautern High school team. Being scared before facing an audience is she added with a laugh a what makes it a natural  the Heidelberg team a dressed in White shirts red bandannas and Cowboy hats a pulled in a first place with a country West pm style routine in the Novelty category. Dressed in yellow and Blue uniforms the team won in the precision category by presenting a patriotic routine Complete with each services song. The team took second place in the dance category. Kaiserslautern High schools team dressed in red and White cheer leading costumes out danced the Heidelberg team to take top dance honors. Kaiserslautern placed second in the precision category and third in the Novelty category. The team from Ramstein High school earned second place in the Novelty category and third place with a precision routine. Frankfurt High schools team took third place in the dance category. Sixteen teams from Germany Belgium and England had been invited to compete in the event according to Competition officials. Judging was based on criteria set by the National cheer leading association superstar Drill team inc., of Dallas Texas. _ slip Gay do Maon members of the Heidelberg High team show a winning form in their precision routine at the european dance Drill Competition. Hamilton Ohio a when a 14-year-old girl was suspended from Junior High school for giving two tylenol capsules to a classmate with a headache officials said it was just part of a Tough anti drug policy. Her daughter Dana merry gave the Over the counter painkiller to her Friend Michelle wines. Wilson Junior High school suspended both girls for five Days and officials said the students could have been expelled. Michelle accepted the suspension although her Mother now wants her transferred to another school said Ron Ellis director of student services for the Hamilton Board of education. Dana smother has hired a lawyer and is appealing the action to a Butler county court after the Board voted 3-2 tuesday to support the school. School officials said their policy against having pupils Exchange any drugs a even Legal ones a is for the youngsters Protection. Young people could bring illicit drugs to class m containers once used to hold medications and teachers would not know the difference said school Board member Larry Bowling. Pat Baum a school nurse in Columbus Ohio said such a strict policy also protects children against inadvertently taking a medication to which they May be allergic. Wilkins said she was also upset about the Way the matter was handled. She said the girls volunteered the information about the tylenol when Thev were confronted by teachers who had heard a Rumor of the Exchange. Then the two were ordered to empty their pockets and purses she said. Under Wilson Junior High schools policy pupils May take non prescription medication but they must first get school officials approval and must take the medication in the presence of an adult. A we feel very strongly that we should be involved with the kids safety a Ellis said
