Divorce is an unfortunate part of life but each Case is unique and should be settled As such in a court of Law. I called the parts store and asked if it had a starter. The answer was no special order. I then asked if i could get the part number. The response was a fall Tempo starters Are the  i called my son in . And asked him to Send me a starter for a 1990 Ford Tempo 2.3 engine. The starter arrived and i delivered it to cafes which told me it did no to fit. I complained about the bad information and was Given another set of numbers. Then i was told cafes had a starter in the store. Again my Hopes were lifted Only to find out it was not the right one. I called my son who told me to Send the old starter. Cafes said that was not necessary and gave me new numbers. I sent these and nothing happened. My son called and told me again that he needed the old starter As there were two or three Tempo starters and the supplier needed the original. I sent it to him and he had it rebuilt. It works. It has Cost me 1,000 Marks for a rental car plus the Federal express for three packages. It has ticked me off no end that no one knows what is going on and what really gets me is we were told that cafes services what it Sells. Why did Ford not have the part somewhere in Germany Why is cafes allowed to sell what it does not have parts for or Why does it allow Ford to sell autos for which it does not carry the main parts i was under the impression that i had a certain amount of warranty for some parts.
