Australian rider Michael Doohan embarrassed the rest of the German motorcycle grand prix Field sunday in route to his fifth 500 cubic centimetre class Victory of the season. Doohan Riding a Honda increased his total grand prix Points to 130, out distancing american Kevin Schwantz by 24.626 seconds at the Hocken Heiring. The americans surrounded Doohan on the pole position with riders Wayne Rainey Schwantz John Kocinski and Doug Chandler filling four of the top six positions. But the Brisbane native blew past them and led the entire Way and Rode a whee lie to the finish line on the Home stretch. Doohan never trailed in the race and Schwantz maintained second place throughout the Chase.
