American pupils from Lan Stuhl elementary school and German pupils from land Stuhle a Haup Schule joined for a Day in the ancient City to visit roman ruins and the downtown shopping District. A i liked going with the american students because i got to learn some English a said Jochen Pelsch of the German school. A it was fun because there were More students in the trip and i like being with kids that Arentt in my class. I like to meet other  t he two classes Are from sister schools. �?o1 just thought it would be Nice to do some team teaching so we got together a said Dennis Yemma the teacher from the american school. A a we be both got fifth Grade classes so that made it really Nice. The Day was the Porta Nigra the roman Gate to the ancient City. Its Arches and blackened Stone Walls rising above the City a Cobblestone streets were the first Stop for the visiting children. A i liked the Castle Porta Nigra the Best because i got to get up High a she said. From the openings children were Able to see the downtown Christmas Market. After visiting the Porta Nigra seeing the City a main Cathedral and spending time in the Market the classes went on a 20-minute walk to the ancient roman Baths a series of tunnels caverns and open stairways.
