This is partly due to the ancient architecture and partly duet ignorance. 1 was surprised to find that the .military facilities were the same mixed bag after bringing it to the Community commander s attention handicapped parking was designated for facilities on Patch Barracks in Stuttgart. When the streets and sidewalks were recently re done of Patch Barracks some provisions were made for reduced curbs however most of the buildings have no Handicap Access including the Exchange. Besides making it difficult if not impossible for wheelchair Access it also handicaps those pushing strollers an baby carriages.
