The newspaper which did not identify its sources said it is believed one of the urine samples produced a positive test for High testosterone a a symptom of performance enhancing drugs a or was suspicious enough to prompt officials to ask Johnson to undergo another test which was positive. The Star says the positive test was confirmed by three sources All of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity. A a no comment a was Johnson a reply tuesday night when a reporter went to the sprinters Home in nearby Newmarket Ontario and asked him if he had tested positive. Johnson had been scheduled to compete in the Canadian indoor championships in Winnipeg on feb. 19. He was coming off a hamstring injury sustained in a race feb. 10 at Ghent Belgium. He went to Winnipeg and declared himself fit for Competition.
