Rather than pay a Cash settlement of $125,000 to the military Britannica agreed to provide the computers com Puter software and the encyclopedias to the schools and libraries. Thirty six computers 30 multimedia cd rom encyclopedias and 22 sets of bound encyclopedias already have been delivered the statement said. Others Are scheduled to be delivered soon to libraries and department of defense dependents schools in Belgium England Germany Greece and Turkey. The air Force office of special investigations at Ramstein received reports in 1989 that Britannica representatives in England and Germany were holding Back commission funds the statement said.
