Nine years ago i married a Man who smoked pot and drank like a fish. I did no to like it but i thought head change. After two years i found Al anon a support group for friends and families of alcoholics. After id been in Al anon for four years my husband hit Bottom and finally went into treatment and began attending alcoholics Anonymous regularly. Now i have a husband who is unbelievable. He shares his feelings and thoughts with me helps around the House docs Yard work cleans and vacuums regularly does his own laundry and found a Job that is teaching him a lot about assertiveness and maintaining a positive attitude. I cannot say enough about How much a and Al anon have done for us. Their 12-step programs work. They saved our marriage. Al anon helped me learn How to change the behaviour and reactions that were not working for me. Id like to urge your readers who Are involved with an alcoholic to get into a 12-step program y even if the alcoholic is not ready you can do a lot to bring about change. Support groups have done an enormous amount of Good for people who choose to share a life with an alcoholic y your letter is a perfect example. Thank you for it. Dear Ann Landers i happen to be one of a those old Guys who runs carry on baggage dear Abby i am a flight attendant for a major airline and i would like to shed some Light on carry on baggage before the summer Rush ends. So Many people read your column i Hope you la print this. Airlines offer passengers a service of checking baggage to their final destinations. I wish More people would take advantage of this service. For the passenger getting through Security is easier with less baggage you la have a More comfortable flight with More legroom you need not search the plane for overhead bin a space sometimes causing de a a a a a a a lays and most important in the event of an emergency quibble three to five Miles at least six mornings a week. As Dawn Breaks the streets Are littered with roving cats a a minimum of 25.
