Then turn toward Milford Haven and Cross the Bridge to Pembroke the town is fairly Small with one main Street but it does contain a number of old churches and a spectacular Castle. Tenby is attractive and interesting with a town Wall a museum and Art gallery with dramatic views of the Baya Tudor merchant s House and a network of narrow winding streets which slope Down to the Harbor. However the main reason for a visit is to take a boat to Caldy Island. be clearly seen from the coast but is Cut off during the Winter. There is a cistercian monastery on the Island the first monastery was built Here in the fifth a cent Ryand Tours can be taken a but Only men Are allowed inside the monastery buildings. The monks make a variety of products to sell including perfume and Dairy products. I apart from the main buildings there Are i a number of old chapels and churches that i can be visited and the Large Village Green j Complete with Duck Pond makes a pleasant place to sit in the Sun.
