The 23-year-old Bass was one of 26 people killed aboard two army Black Hawk helicopters shot Down april 14 in a Friendly fire incident by air Force air Craft Over Northern Iraq. The gym is now called the Tony Bass physical fitness Center in remembrance of Bass who was assigned to v corps co a 5th in 158th aviation regt 12th aviation brigade in Wiesbaden. The Wiesbaden army Community decided to dedicate the gym in his Honor to recognize the time he spent there work ing out arid serving As a Volunteer officials said.
