Force officials decided to Combine the study guide now called the air Force professional development guide and make it available to All enlisted members in the 2007 update for two Rea sons Denter said first we dont feel theres any value added in taking information away from our younger airmen even though it wont All be test Able for them Denter said there is no reason not to share that information with them the other driving Force Denter said is Economy although the cos savings Are indirect Denter said he Fig ures he Cut the number of Man hours his shop spent to put the single volume together by 25 percent now i dont have to worry about two different volumes that say pretty much the same thing Denter said so As i go through the editing process and working with subject matter i dont have to Cut and paste information from one volume into the second volume the air Force has printed 340000 copies of the new professional development guide which has More than 460 pages divided into 19 chapters and costs per copy to print Denter said at each air base weighted air men promotion system or was monitors whose Job it is to Deal with issues related to the air Force promotions test sys tem will distribute copies of the guide to the enlisted airmen in their flight Denter said every base should have them As of april Denter said delivery to enlisted air men should be Complete by the 20th
