Another Holder of the air medal capt. Kitt r. Mcmasters received his second Oak Leaf Cluster for destroying an enemy fighter bomber in Aerial combat. The air medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster was awarded to 1st it. James v. Elliott and 1st it. George b. Jameson for extraordinary achievements. A a a the air medal was awarded the following officers for meritorious action while participating in ten sorties against the enemy first it. Thomas w. Byrnes 1st it. Robert a. Dietrich or. 1st it.
