Effective october 4, a class of 24 students will commence studies in a High Speed radio operator course. The course i rjae 16 weeks in length and students completing the curriculum will be awarded a potential transmitting and receiving equipment mos. Beginning october 11, six officers of the 23d fighter Wing will undertake a 10-week course in general air plane maintenance. The course will include theory of operation on All phases of aircraft first and second Echelon maintenance and inspections. The 23d fighter Wing has announced that Metal Welfling and Basic air plane and engine courses Are operating 7at full capacity. The Basic a a school graduates class of potential san 747. Mechanics each week. Students trained in these schools come from fifth air Force 13th air Force first air division Japan air material area Marianas air Materiel area and 20th air Force.
