Under the command of capt Harry j. Wolanin the band has been maintaining full schedule of activities for the past several months. Daily rehearsals make up a Large portion of their daytime activities three times a week they play Retreat in front of first air division Headquarters and occasionally in f front of 32nd composite Wing head quarters. Whenever a ship docks pc either Naha or Whit Beach the 558th band must be a hand of Welcome new arrivals. The band has been broken up into several smaller organizations for off duty night time playing. Foremost Amon these Are the  the Rainbow club at Kadena the first air division no club and other clubs through out the Kadena area Are on the 558th s evening roster. This conference will begin each week at 1 . Sponsored by the command ing officer 32nd maintenance and Supply group and assisted by the chiefs of Supply and maintenance divisions at 32nd composite Wing head quarters the purpose of this weekly conference is to co ordinate and attempt to Settle Supply and maintenance prob lems existing throughout the base.
