The decision was greeted with Boos by the crowd of 5,000 which believed the no. 5-ranked Lyle had taken a Clear decision. Lyle had bloodied Peralta s nose and Mouth in the Early rounds and opened a Cut on the Argentine s right Eyebrow in the sixth with his stunning left jabs. But Peralta was never close to going Down. Lyle weighed in at 212 pounds and Peralta the loth ranked heavyweight at 200. Earlier decision Lyle won a close decision Over Peralta in their first match last May 12 in Denver Colo. I beat Peralta in his Back Yard Lyle said after going to his dressing room. "1 think i was better. I am going to be the next heavyweight  the draw was Lyle s first in 28 fir lits. He has won 26 and his Only loss was to Jerry Quarry in Madi son Square Garden last february. I want to fight Quarry Lyle declared in a dressing room interview. Hay Nie hit Murphy on a 17-Yard scoring pass with 32 seconds left in the first half. Arizona scored Midway in the third Quarter on a fullback pass play. The air Force scored its second touchdown in the closing moments of the third period on the second scoring pass from Haynie to Mur Phy for 10 Yards. Arizona Drew to within three Points at the close of the third Quarter As Upchurch plunged one Yard for a score. A two Yard run by Milodragovic gave the air Force its third touchdown of the game. Arizona fought Back Midway in the fourth period As Hill drilled a 10-Yard scoring pass to end Scott Piper. Collins having an out standing defensive Day for the Falcons blocked the extra Point attempt giving the Falcons a four Point margin. Air Force s last score came on Lawson s second Field goal this one for 28 Yards. With less than a minute in the game Arizona scored on a Hill pass to end Tom Camp Tell. The wildcats deciding to go for the win in Stead of a tie tried for a two Point conversion but it was blocked.
