It s an old Manor House from the victorian Era with huge ballrooms chandeliers and solid wooden staircases fro sure you ii like it. As we weren t sure what time we would be arriving m lord promised to leave the key with he Gate guards at the base. The Sui. Was barely visible when we pulled into the main Gate of acc Cham common. The Gate guard gave us our key and directions to the Manor House. Our Friend had not told us of the thursday night ghost but As we drove up to the massive great House we commented on the Good possibilities for of haunting. The House is impressive. Sitting on the Crest of a Hill. The red Brick. Victorian style mansion was the focal Point for a family estate which at one time according to Chat Diol Anli a retired air Force officer and the lord and manager of the Manor stretched eight Miles. Our room was on the third floor past the great Hall up the elegant wide stairs across the great Hall Balcony Down the carpeted Hall up one set of stairs then another set of stairs whew the suitcases were getting heavy and finally to our  Beds sink in the room Shower and toilet Down the Hall. With our suitcases deposited we set out to investigate the area. A tour of the grounds snowed us the once Mani cured Trees and the walled Garden a Small held had not been taken care of for years. Some 50 Yards from the House a Small Stream had been dammed years ago to form a Pond Complete with min lure Island in the Center. As we came to the Pond a Battle of nerves was in Prog Ress. Two teen aged boys were stranded on the Island their Bridge of boards having been jerked out by two Small boys. The Small boys Brave now that the older boys could t reach them were calling to All the other children in the area to come and witness the plight of the trapped older boys adding insult to  Bridge broken the older boys were forced to bar gain with the Small boys for the replacement of their Bridge. When polite pleas failed threats took Over. At last look the Small boys were running for dear life As someone showed up to replace the Board Bridge. Diolanto intercepted our return to our room. The Man s love for the gracious victorian mansion was apparent As he supplied the Manor s history. The Manor was built in the latter half of the ism s on the site of a 16th-Century Lodge. I Ulani met one of the original Baxendale family members who had occupied the House when the estate was still intact. Fifty people were hired just to take care of things in the House the Man told him. With another 30 people employed in the Sta Bles. And the Manor is supposed to have a ghost. No footsteps nothing just a definite Knock on the  other time four of us were in inc to room Chat Ting. The Light in the dining room was  were sitting there talking when we heard a groan. We ignored it. Then we heard u again and this one major said Cut out the crap ,. Then there was another groan. This time he said. Christ Sakcs. Act your age and immediately went to the door. There was t anybody  what s going on around Here he  other people have also heard the ghost dial anal said and u seems it prefers thursday nights for its excursions.
