Mannheim took a 6-0 Lead Early in the game when Kirk Van Zee picked off a Powell Aerial on the 50 and raced All the Way to the Lions four. Fowler who was the offensive Star of the game with 123 Yards Rushing in 24 totes got the to on the next Oglesby picked off Powell s next pass on the first play afer the Kickoff to get the Mannheim fans in the crowd of 3, 500 roaring.
