Each Day starts with a run through the Trimm Weg a three Kilometre course in the bavarian Woods with 20 stations where you Stop and exer Cise. Each station is marked by a sign giving directions for the exercise to be done at that  Start out easily enough twirling your arms in the air touching your toes. But As the numbers on the sign get higher the exercises get harder and the distance be tween stations seems  Many of the Trimm Weg stations the props of the Forest Are  Are logs to leap Over to pick up an swing Over your shoulders to hop up and Down from. There Are also stations with chains and loops to swing on and platforms to jump from. It is strenuous but if you Are going to put your Bod through the torture it might As Well be where the scenery is pretty the air  running and the Trimm Weg exercises would seem to be enough. He demonstrates exercises especially beneficial to the skier doing the Hula hoop without the hoop Locking Knees together parallel ski style then moving them encircles. Fanny after the morning exercises followed by a lecture Onski technique students that Day opted for an afternoon hike up to the Kneifel Spitze a Mountain just outside Berchtesgaden. The routine on the second and third Days was much the same. And by the morning of the third Day some of the students could barely move. It was t just sore leg mus cles either. Every single muscle everywhere ached. In fact they could t move without feeling  nothing else they Learned they were not in Good shape and had a lot of work to do to get ready for the slopes. Which is exactly what Sigi staudinger had hoped. I three Days we want to show people what they can do to get in shape. If they just spend 10 or 15 minutes a Day on what they Learned they will  Sigi staudinger working out on the tymm avg. The ski instructor pointed out that a skier can improve his skiing much faster if he is in Good shape. And by being in Good physical condition he will not be As susceptible to injury. Studies have shown that nearly 76 per cent of ski injuries occur to skiers in poor physical condition. The three Day clinic costs $15 which includes free Golf or Tennis in the after noon one afternoon of free swimming and a pizza party at the conclusion of the program. The Price does not include accommodations. The clinic continues through nov. 20 however no classes will be offered from oct. 24 to oct. 30. Clinic sessions begin on fridays and mondays.
