The corps is doing something wrong not because they re digging them up but because they want to haul them off the reservation and not give them a proper burial says Robert Philbrick tribal chairman on the Crow Creek Indian reservation. Philbrick said he planned to protest and discuss alternatives this week with the Secretary of the army and the corps of engineers in Washington. Archaeologists on the site could not comment on their findings due to a stipulation in their contract with the corps requiring them not to talk to reporters.
