that their teachers share my concern for them to learn How to read and write far too Many teenagers Are graduating from High school not knowing How to prop Erly organize and write their thoughts knowledge of Basic grammar and expository writing skills Are i i was one of after being out of High school for nine i decided to go Back to College to pursue my career my first course was English i was very concerned about taking this course because i did not know How to there were five other adults in the class who shared the same thank we had a wonderful instructor who reviewed some Basic grammar and was always receptive to our Many i Hope that my daughters will learn these language and writing skills throughout their elementary school i feel that every Parent should examine their own usage of the English do you use proper grammar when speaking at Home with your children do you use a lot of Slang expressions we As parents need to ask ourselves these our children learn from us and the examples that we we need to detect and Correct our own language one Way to help our children develop these skills is through lets make time in our daily schedules to read to our a perfect time is in the evening before its a wonderful time to relax and cuddle with our it can be a treasured quiet moment to spend after a hectic Day at work and lets not use the various Book and Cas Sette tapes available As a substitute for Reading one evening the child will take the Book out of your hands and read it to parents and teachers working together can successful help our children to build a Strong
