The parents alleged that More than 40 third graders were made to undress Down to their underwear in september 1983 after a teacher at Crane Creek elementary school discovered that $10 was missing from her purse. At the time of the search the District had no policy on searches and seizures Accord ing to David Duff one of the school District s attorneys. Almost immediately a policy was put into effect.
