Taylor went for 12 again on the runs 9 Giessen on Page 26 warriors rip wolves in big schools final Wiesbaden the Wiesbaden warriors led by Derrick Jackson both on of sense and defense trounced the Wuerzburg wolves 60-19 saturday to take the Dodds Germany big schools football championship. Jackson rushed 25 times for 225 Yards and three touchdowns. He also intercepted a pass to Lead to one of his ads. The warriors totalled 434 Yards Rushing. Jackson set the tone for the Romp in the first Quarter when he went 54 Yards off tackle on the warriors second play from scrimmage for a 6-0 Lead. Later in the first Quarter Jackson capped a 10-play, 64-Yard drive by going in from 4 Yards out. Another Warrior drive this one 45 Yards near the end of the first period was capped by Ivan Cush Crry s 5-Yard run for a 19-0 Lead. Cush Berry had a Good Day himself Rushing 10 times for 134 Yards. The warriors Only scored once in the second Quarter when Stefan Stroebel hauled in a 5-Yard scoring strike from quarterback Stan Watley for a 25-0 halftime Lead. Watley was 6 of 10 for 96 Yards and 2 ads on the Day. In the third Quarter Jackson proved that he was not superhuman fumbling on the warriors 5-Yard line. Wuerzburg defensive Back John Williams who had 15 tackles on the Day recovered. Two plays later Trey Hicks went in from the 5 to get the wolves on the Board. Two plays after the ensuing Kickoff Cush Berry rumbled 61 Yards for a score. On the warriors nest Kickoff a Strong wind resulted in an unintentional on sides kick. Vernon Williams recovered for wies Baden and four plays later Watley hit Joe Bishop on a 24-Yard to pass for a 39-7 Lead. In the fourth Quarter Wuerzburg drove 71 Yards in 7 play with Orlando Johnson grabbing a 5-Yard pass from Hicks for the score. Hicks was 5 of 15 for 55 Yards but he was intercepted twice. Wiesbaden came Back when Jackson intercepted a pass on the wolves 18. After a dead Ball foul against Wuerzburg moved the Ball to the 10, Jackson went in for the score. The next Wiesbaden score was after a four play 45-Yard drive. Vernon Williams capped the drive with an 8-Yard scoring Jaunt. Wuerzburg came Back when Tyrone Wiggins scored from the 3, but Wally then hit Steve Burnett on a 23-Yard touchdown pass for the 60-19 final. The Wiesbaden defense held Wurzburg to 12 first Downs and 225 total Yards it was led by cornerback Vernon Williams tackle Vince Bonner linebacker Ivan Cush Berry and nose guard Eddie Gailey All with 10 tackles. Mike Brown led the Wuerzburg Rushing attack gaining 92 Yards on 16 carries. The wolves defense was anchored by linebacker David Macdonald with 10 tackles.
