The Winter weather with Snow and freezing temperatures provides the Hunting environment i enjoy most. When i Hunt in this kind of weather it usually brings remarks from my wife and friends that i m crazy. Yet Early mornings still find me in the Woods. On the other hand the approach of the Schonzeit or the time when wild game must be left alone for bearing offspring reminds me the Hunting season must soon come to an end until Spring. As i Sla. Quietly along a Small Orcsi Trail or sit in a Snow covered tree i usually think about How i be enjoyed the recent Hunting seasons and the Opportunity to Hunt with friends. For some reason i always recall the country Christmas song pretty paper that seems to bring the whole wilderness into focus with the season. I la never understand or much less Why. It just happens. There s also the enjoyment of providing feed for wild game at this time of year and it s even More fun 111mark Swearer Gerv to watch the game partake and Benefit. Late fall or Early Winter is an Ideal Lime for tree planting too. Some Hunters Plant Trees As mementos of appreciation for memorable Hunting opportunities with German foresters. The approaching close of the season invites occasional sadness in december especially when the afternoon skies begin to Darken. Early sunsets remind me it will soon be time to pause from those hours of wearing old Wool baggy Rucksacks and weathered hats. The remedy for this amalgamation of feelings is simply to look to the immediate future for other out door pleasures. Here in Europe i always look Forward to skiing Alpine and Cross country and Winter Mountain hiking from january through april. Toward the end of the Hunting season when i dream about these other pleasures. I think about watching for the first signs of Spring mainly the Crocus Flowers that will Bloom in my Yard. Soon after that i project the Hunting season will be Here. Surely you my fellow Hunters and outdoors Man experience similar feelings in december. And i Hope they All culminate in a Happy and pleasant Christmas season for you. For most Hunters and millions of other americans this is truly the greatest time of the year. Merry Christmas.
