An official from the world figure skating championships said sunday that Tatiana Danilenko gave Marks of 5.9 and 5.8 to soviet skater Alexander Fadeev in the men s free skating Competition thursday night. Fadeev fell twice and did poorly in his routine and the rest of the nine judge panel gave him Marks in the 5.4 to 5.6 Range. A 6.0 is a perfect score. Fadeev the 1985 world Champion needed a first or a second place in the free skating to retain his title. He finished fifth in the free skating and third Overall.
