New York has the Best University system in the country with 64 campuses and 348,000 students but it in t As widely known outside the academic Community because none of its schools plays inc kind of football thai Michigan Ohio stale or Urcla play. The new president at Buffalo came from the University of Nebraska. Nebraska May be a respectable educational institution but As far As the rest of the world knows it majors in football. The City of Buffalo is in favor of big time football be cause of the Money it will bring to the City. Many professors arc against it. They think any Money available for football should be spent on its academic programs. The problem of course is that recruiting two new professors of russian literature or a few molecular physicists for the science department does t bring in any Money. It s a Tough problem. A football team gives everyone who goes to a school a common rooting interest. It also helps bring in Money from alumni by keeping their inter est in the College alive. It never seems to me As though hospitals should be part of the capitalist system. When i m in one i want to think of myself As a patient not a customer. This year 1 had to pay More tax than was deducted Fromm regular Check. I mailed my tax return about 5 . It has t been Many years since millions was big Money. Then billions came along. Now billion is no longer big enough. I am not sure what a sparkling Home Means but the word is usually used when an owner has Little else to brag about.  is the same a sparkling the Only difference is spectacular has one and a half Baths in Stead of one a new contemporary is a House that was built in the Early sixties. An old contemporary could mean anything and usually does. If you tee an advertisement which reads unusual House built by owner it Means the dining room is in the basement and the Washer and dryer Are located in the bedroom. Some people prefer the word quaint which could mean having to stoop to gel into the front door or climb unto a two room apartment Over the garage. Here s another one to look out for nestled As in nestled in the Forest by a  houses like these always have plumbing problems and because they Are nestled no one will come out from town to fix them.
