I be decided let urn la a Complete diversion Ihal will Lake my mind completely on Hunting until the seasons Start again in the Spring. Although i m not sure just what to do. I la think of something but 1 do know i had help through a great Hunting experience on the last Day of the Roc Deer season in Bavaria. I spent nearly eight hours alone in the Woods. I saw a fair amount of wild game but the real Cecile men came from the feeling of a Winter Forest. The ground was covered with a Blanket of deep Snow the branches were while from some new Snow and the temperature was around minus-23 degrees c or 10 below Zero f. The Sun was shining All Day. Which helped enrich the colors of the outdoors but it did t provide much warmth. The encounter with the Low term Para Turc proved quite an ordeal. Ii look a lot of Wool and two hand warmers to keep from freezing. I had Suc Cess during the last hour of Daylight. A and by the Lime i had Field dressed the Deer and tied it in my Ruck sack i was so cold it seemed 1 would never thaw out. The whole Day was an experience to remember which will surely carry me through to May. So now that i be cleaned the Rifle thoroughly and put it in the rack with a Good Coal of Oil its Lime to turn completely away from Hunting and look for other activities especially some to enjoy with my family. In fact already have some things in mind. Some weekends in Belgium Brussels Ghent and ant Werp. And skiing in Switzerland and Austria. Plenty of Lime to plan for some Mountain climbs in inc summer and maybe we can even enjoy some Cross country skiing in inc Obe Pfalz where 1 do Mast of my Hunting. On second thought maybe i should avoid the area to keep from becoming anxious about inc coming seasons. Yes there arc ways to avoid those Low sea son blues i m sure i la have fun turning to some new pastimes and it will be Good to get my mind on Hunting for awhile. Then the cold Spring air and smell of Forest Moss will be much More refreshing when they make an appearance in the Spring. Wardman Sycil the Wiesbaden Rod and gun club will con duct a Hunting course beginning March 10 to qualify members of the . Armed services for a German Hunting License. Classes will Start at 7 .
